Can't Cry

Why can't I cry when I think of the sad things most of the time anymore? :( I don't even feel much of an urge either. Feels like... maybe I'm supposed to...?

@BusyBird

My function to cry doesn't seem to exist at the moment.

For me it seems to be a protection block.

Like almost numbing due to maybe crying too much and not seeing it does anything to help the situations I go through, my brains learnt that crying doesn't solve anything but make me feel vulnerable.

Because there’s not safe space or time for me to be vulnerable.

Still not sure, maybe its trauma block, or another condition.

I have a condition called pcos not sure if its to do with that either

@Samuriheart Well I think that makes sense. In my case at least maybe because I know this morning I kind of wanted to cry and could not, and I know part of it was because you never know how well people are going to take it.

@BusyBird

Sometimes, when we are used to sadness, and crying and used to a toxic environment, sometimes our emotions sadly go unchecked because it's common ground 💛
