Entry 2 - Shrinking and Striking
I shrink in his presence, I feel like a boy again, only to become combative and destructive when nettled and roused - hard to find a middle way. Inhibited, stifled. Why am I like this? Why not show them the full extent of your character and potential? They would enjoy my happiness but I feel like I shouldn't let them enjoy my happiness or take pleasure in it, especially because of past hurt unacknowledged.
