theres something about me not many people know about. im an envious person. i think being envious/jealous is a normal feeling, but for me its quite different.

when i see someone succeed in something it makes me hate myself. its getting to the point where it's hard for me to be proud of them and congratulate them idk why.

a while back my bf told me good news like he's going on vacation with his family, or he got a high paying job. and although i know i should be happy for him, i cant help but act arrogant. it's gotten to the point where recently he told me that i've been very unsupportive of his successes; and tht he'll not share any good news with me anymore.

that hurt. but i did this to myself. and idk how to stop myself from feeling this way i feel like a terrible person.

if anyone can relate or give me advice how to not feel this way pls lmk

@ipoopcats

Thank you for your honesty.

It's not always easy to admit our faults.

But identifying them helps us to work on them.

It's human to be envious and compare ourselves.

But it's important to focus on ourselves and not fixate on others.

Apologise to your bf and do something special to show him just how proud you are of him.

You are not a horrible person at all đź’–
