It's the world that's the problem
This world is toxic, sick, it's obviously not a good place to be. Anyone who's been paying any attention and isn't insulated in their little shelter bubble knows this.
So how are you supposed to have good mental health in a world as bad as this? Even if you have relative temporary safety it's still a f'd up world and that's going to affect you.
All this focus on mental health - what about the health of the world? Is it possible to be a healthy cell in a decaying body?
It pee's me off how no psychologists or therapists seem to have an answer to this. Their focus is always on the individual. Pathology is always individual. Problems are always individual. Insanity!
@rainfall12
From my perspective, it is about the individual- i can’t control anyone/anything but me, so i might as well do what i can to make sure i’m happy, and do what i can to help others as a career.
@rainfall12 if the world didn't suck.. Then we'd all fall off
Yep the world might be a hard place to live, or a unfair place the world definitely isn't perfect.
So what's the point right? Well when I think of the world I think of beauty and magic, a world of miracles, and oppertunities. God blessed us with life, so don't waste it on hatred. If you look for bad, all you will find is bad. So look for the good, and you will find happiness and understanding
good luck ❤
is saying mental health is not important because the world is bad .... deflecting so no need to work on YOU the only thing you have control of?
