September 29, 2026 — 4:30 p.m.

I’m writing this note to remember how my day went today, September 29, 2026. It’s 4:30 in the afternoon, and I’m at home. It’s just me and my mom here. The rest of my family are all busy with their own things.

I’m writing this because I want to remember how my first two weeks at college went. Honestly, it has been really difficult for me to adapt. I don’t know many people there, and I still haven’t managed to make any friends. The environment, the study system, the way everything works — everything feels so different, and I’m struggling to keep up with it. It feels like everything is difficult for me right now.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days I’ve had in a while. I had classes from 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., and then, at the very last minute, the administration told us that there was going to be a meeting with the director. So I went to the meeting, and it lasted until around 7 p.m. My parents didn’t even know that there was a meeting, and on top of that, my phone had died, so I had absolutely no way to contact my family.

When I left, I went looking for the bus I usually take, only to find out that it had already stopped running. On top of everything, both of my feet were injured, and I could barely walk. I felt completely lost, scared, and unsafe.

At that moment, I kept telling myself, “Please, God, just let me get home. I just need to find a taxi, a bus, anything — I just need to get on something and get home.”

I ended up crossing to the other side of the city, walking a very long distance just to find a taxi. Eventually, I found one and took it. But the taxi dropped me off far from home, so I had to keep walking and walking.

At that moment, I honestly felt like I was going to collapse. I finally got home after 8:30 p.m. I was exhausted, my feet hurt so much, and I just felt completely drained.

Maybe to someone else, all of this might seem like something ordinary or just a difficult day. But for me, it felt like all the effort I had been making to improve myself and become a better version of myself suddenly disappeared. That horrible feeling came back.

I felt like I was back at zero.

All the energy I had before was gone. I didn’t feel motivated to do anything anymore. It felt like all my energy had been taken away from me in just one day.

And now I’m just trying to process everything that happened.
