Nightmare…

When I was in primary school, a boy constantly bullied me. I asked him to stop many times, but he never listened and always treated it like a joke. One day, I couldn’t handle the bullying anymore and broke down crying in front of my teacher… She just made him say sorry to me, I thought he would change…but right after school, he sent me messages laughing that I cried. Even though I really thought the teacher would help… but actually she already sided with him because of his grades…

I always believed that teacher treated everyone fairly, but up until graduation, she kept asking me to unblock him. She insisted he was a 'nice kid' who just liked to joke around. I trusted her because she seemed nice and I didn’t want to cause any drama , not realizing that forgiving him every time was only causing me more pain.

After I blocked him, he even went out of his way to contact my secondary school friends and best friend to get information about me. I ended up having to unfriend both of them because they believed his 'nice guy' act and thought I was overreacting. To this day, no one knows about this, nor how much I was hurt during those two years. He was the type of person who acted kind in front of teachers while bullying me behind their backs. I don't even dare to go back to my primary school now…

@ivoryPine3466

Your teacher was wrong 💛

Good grades is not more important than kindness , respect and good manners.

I'm sorry you experienced this 🩵

This is a narcissistic behaviour of those kids who bullied you. They get feed on the fear of others. They love to poke more to provoke others for fights. The best reply to them is you maintain your calmness. Don’t let them affect you . Dont react to them but at the same time don’t get affected by them either . There was a saying “The lion does not turn around when a small dog barks” . You are that strong lion dear, always remember. Sooner or later they will give up seeing you not reacting. But again that doesn’t mean take it whatever they do. Make yourself a lion . Act smartly. set your boundaries and if they try to cross, don’t sit silently. I went through the same in my childhood and complained to the wrong teacher . Now when I look 20 years back. I realised the right way would have been complaining to my father and if he would have spoken to my principal directly . So sometimes we give up seeing a small disappointment that I tried but my teacher didn’t understood. But if we give up easily with one attempt that means we are also giving up easily to stand for ourselves.

Dont give up on yourself. Step back, take some time and don’t hesitate to ask for help, if one person doesn’t understand then reach out to the other person.

I hope it helps. I’m sure there are laws also depending on which country you are from. It’s something you can look into as well . Choose carefully what suggestion you would have given to your younger sibling, choose that for yourself. Be strong, nothing can shake you if you don’t allow it to .
