Hi I'm 16

I have this issue thats been making me feel rlly depressed . It's thag I Wana go out of the house on my own and go for a walk . But I can only do that with my mum . I Wana feel self independent and like I can be on my own . I'm very passionate and like to expeerince things . But I can't go out on my own cuz of my dad . Cuz this thing is no normal for him . I feel like I'm missing out . Missing out on opportunities and poeple , new interactions and all.

What do I do ?

I can't live one day Without thinking Abt my freedom and where I'll end up in my life if I keep going like this

I need a geniune advice and what I need to do to get that freedom of choice yk

@sivaahere Hey, I'm not sure i fully understand your situation, but you do deserve freedom to explore, enjoy and go out by yourself too at times... Maybe your parents are being extra careful and stuff... But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be allowed to go out by yourself at all. have you considered talking to them about how you feel of these restrictions?

Maybe communicating your needs and feelings honestly with them help.. I'm really sorry that you feel like ur missing out on a lot of stuff... It makes complete sense to feel this way right now. but there's so much ahead of you ❤️ You're not alone, and you truly matter 💖 Sending you lots of love and *Big hugs* 🐾💕

@sivaahere It’s heartbreaking to feel like your world is a small room when your soul is ready to map the stars. At 16, that itch  for fredom isnt rebelion its your independence trying to be born.

I hear how much it hurts to feel like you’re missing out on the world. But please know, the 'you' that you’re worried about losing is still in there, growing stronger every day. Freedom starts in the mind before it happens in the streets.

Maybe try starting small? Ask for a 15 min walk where they can still see you, or a trip to a nearby shop alone. Show them and your dad that your wild passion is actually a steady, responsible strength. You arent falling behind but just preparing. Your time to run is coming, and I promise it’ll be even more beautiful because you had to wait for it
