What is your biggest fear? And what would it mean to overcome it?

@Amanda84

I used to fear failures but then I got to learn that failures are important to build ourselves stronger in our path to success.

The journey is still going and I am still learning..

@Silenceofshadows I totally get what you mean, failure can be crippling for so many reasons, fear of people laughing at you, fear of not being good enough, fear of people's opinions and expectations, fear of our own expectations. But it's only when you go through failure, you see it's not as scary as you thought it was. You learn alot, you build up your own character and these experiences can often open up other experiences that you wouldn't have noticed otherwise. I admire your mindset 🥰

@Amanda84 It’s a toss-up between 1) fear of losing control over myself (i.e., dementia), and 2) fear of being abused/controlled again. I never realized before that the common denominator is a loss of self-control or my own power. The 2nd fear in particular consumes a lot of my thoughts, so to be free of that. I think I’d finally feel alive. Only just recently, I have started to learn what it really means to put my trust in God and let things go into His hands. It has helped immensely, but I still have a long way to go.

@Amanda84

Talking to people I just met or superiors.

I am the biggest Introvert know 😒  Can I ever fix myself? probably not 😞

My mind has been beating it self up the past few days, I have a luncheon tomorrow (WED) with my boss (Director) her boss (VP) and his boss (SR.VP)  at a fancy Italian restaurant. I had to rush out yesterday to buy a pair of dress pants that fit me. Every thing I own is way too big and not replaced since loosing weight. (Always thought, the weight would creep back on me :) )

I'm having major panic attacks and my anxiety is through the roof.

@braindamag3

I am an introvert too, until people get to know me, then they cannot shut me up, probably wishing I'd go back to being introverted 😂 I'm sure you'll look perfectly fine, you will get through this meeting, I know you will! Trust in that!

@Amanda84

It's just the fact that I rarely see the people, they work out of another province and are flying in for this. It is a recognition of my 25 years service and I'd rather it go unrecognized. ☹️

I'm the type to stand back, blend in with the walls, let everyone else do the talking.
i really don't care what I look like, I've even started letting my hair grow out again and My wife is on me to cut it back but Fu( that. 😁  75 more working days to go and I'm outta there.  At this point they have no clue I am going to retire at the end of this year.

@braindamag3

If you only have 75 days left, keep that in focus! I understand not wanting a fuss, but don't hit me 😂 twenty five years is a long time, you deserve a little recognition even rocking the long hair 😁💜
