Why on earth is it so nerve wrecking to make friends here?

I came back to this app after a long time. And the more I spend my time here the more I realised, making friends on 7cups is certainly not my "cup of tea".
And no, this isn't a rant or a complaint post. People are genuinely good the way they are. Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic.
I shall leave it here. Once again iterating, this platform is just fine the way it is.

It sounds like you ran into some bad luck. I hope you refocus and keep trying. Making friends is challenging everywhere but at least here people are genuinely trying to make connections
