The Obstacles

I found out from my previous mistakes that the 1st thing which comes in my way of growth is always my inability to control my emotions when I am too sad or too happy. I get triggered by every little disturbing behaviours of others.

It badly effects my process. I get stuck and my mind keep replay the triggered moments and those kills my motivation to move forward.

And I also learned that, I can Only focus when I stay alone and busy with anything productive. When I consciously block disturbing people from my way and endure the pain of loneliness... The noice fades. My focus improves.

So, for 21 days I wish to act on everyday of time consciously, calculatedly and will keep those hurtful bothersome people blocked and avoid them with all my might.

I wasnt very good at doing it before cause I used to feel guilty. I used to think they might will need my presence and though they hurt I shouldnt cut them off completely...but now, it seems I have to. Cause I accepted I am the problem here. I am weak. And its my job to make my self emotionally and physically stronger....

Hope to win...

It sounds like a good idea to avoid toxic people,  i applaud 👏 you for doing this..

I'm doing it too.. i've been doing it so far for 5 months.. My goal is to do it till May 4th... it does hurt i admit because I was a part of the group and now i'm not.. There's a hole in my heart ❤️ But being on 7cups has distracted me from this situation..

Good luck to you 🌲

@AsherTree wow... 5 month of consistency is a huge achievement! I never could continue more Than 2 weeks... But this time I badly wanna succeed. I heard when we wanna develop a habit it takes 21 days of uninterrupted continuity, and if we can continue it for 6months... Its no longer a habit, it become our whole personality. I wanna test the theory on my self...

Now tell me how it feels to be consistent?  Do you feel all the good tasks became natural to you now? More easy to deal with emotional disturbance?

I think it took a month and a half for it to really feel normalized.it feels good but I find myself still wanting to reach out even though I would be reentering a toxic life style.

I admit it was challenging and I feel I should've done this at least 7 years ago.

I will tell you overall I am now feeling more peaceful and more like a real responsible adult..🌲
