Write about your first job in leadership position

November 25th, 2020

What was your first job as a leader?

Management roles or senior roles can be as follows: Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, Manager, A Head or Supervisor.

What did you like or didn't like about your job?

Let's cover the not so positive aspect of being in leadership roles. Examples below:

Was it too challenging, demanding a lot of your time, salary wasn't satisfactory given your hard work & responsibility overload or your boss treated you unfairly? Some of the common events that you can encounter as an employee/employer that can create stress at work. And it's nothing common, but it's important to consider these factors to ask yourself why you aren't really happy with your job in the first place.

How about the things that you liked about your job?

Was it more opportunity for professional growth, more recognition for your contributions, more respect by your co-workers, higher roles meaning higher pay, better benefits overall.

We'd love to hear your input. I welcome everyone to participate.

My first leadership position was being a Quality Mentor which was scary to lead other people on the best practices of quality listening.
