Asexual and afraid
I’m ace and every single ex partner has told me that they were uncomfortable with it after we broke up. I’m scared I’ll never find a romantic partner.

Hey there, may I call you Max?
I was reading your post, which hit me hard. It can't be easy when all of your exes point to something physical when telling you what made them uncomfortable. As with many physical features that we can't do much to change or change at all, it can come across as very rude when we tell someone that a physical feature/characteristic makes us uncomfortable. So them saying that is very unfair to you, and I am so sorry you had to experience this.
I hope you know that there is never a proper way to tell someone that their physical appearance makes someone feel uncomfortable and that those comments fall under the "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all " category in my books. I would choose the "I'm just not attracted to you that way" as the appropriate alternative.
Being told this would also make me feel hesitant and worried that romantic partners in the future would be uncomfortable with my body. I hope you know that you are not alone.
Regarding building community, I am hosting a fun discussion on Tuesday, March 28 (28/03/23) at 14:00 ET called "Life on the Spectrum." Please feel free to drop by and meet some of the other 7 Cups LGBTQ+/MOGII community members. Also, this room is active a lot, so feel free to come by and introduce yourself to the other members there anytime.
I hope you can count on me as a support through your healing from this unfortunate and unnecessary feedback from your exes.
All the best to you, and take care,
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜@broadfemmelovelive
