So I identified as asexual panromantic for a little over two years now but. I feel sexual attraction. But only to people I dont have a connection to.

I found this out because I started having sexual feelings for my best friend, only to lose them once we started dating. Its like, the opposite of how people describe demisexual to be.

I dont know if there is a name for it, but if anyone is similar, I'm definitely open to discussing this! I feel like I'm the only one.

I don't know if there's a name for it either but I'm bumping your post just in case someone else has insight for you.

@MelodyBeats hey there! While I can't personally relate to the feelings, there is a term for essentially "the opposite of demisexual" -- is fraysexual! (When your attraction starts to go away as you develop a closer bond with someone). So, maybe knowing there's enough people that feel it to already have a term might bring some comfort :)

(Also I don't know if it would interest you, but we do have this big ol' list of ace identities)

@TaranWanderer that sounds exactly right! Thank you so much! I had never heard of that one before.
