Finding what I’m attracted to
Hi. I'm working on figuring out how to know who or what I'm attracted to sexually or romantically without dating or having intercourse with someone. I never dated or had a relationship before. Most of my life, I've been attracted to fictional or cartoon characters and some real people but it's never been so strong so I do know I'm possibly demisexual. I've experienced sexual harassment and sexual assault throughout my life so I guess I've been a little disgusted and not looking forward to sex even though I do have feelings for intercourse.
I don't want to get with someone due to my past religious background and I'm not really into having sex with someone I barely know. I want to be safe.

Thanks! Although, I never been with a real person before it may be nice to do so but the truth is, I'm not attracted to humans much as my interest in them usually dies out. Majority of my life, I never talked with a lot of guys. I've had crushes on men but only because I felt I had to.Never on females.
it's just hard dealing with the fact that I'm into fictional characters and not people. I'm not sure if that's wrong because I've heard comments from people on how I'm "maybe" not "ready" to be with someone yet.
