Hi, recently I found out that I am asexual and is giving me anxiety and stress because I feel like I will never be accepted in this world where sex is so important. Just the word sex makes me sick but I feel like I could accept this just for a person I would really really love... I am feeling alone and lonely..

Howdy, Butterfly! First off, you aren't alone, so you can relax a little. If the numbers are correct and 1% of the population is ace, that's almost 78,000,000 other people. And it can be confusing and strange, but you just need to find the right crowd. I was able to come out to my friends without any problems, and I guess I helped my girlfriend figure out she's a-spec too. The quarantine can't be helping that much, but if you're looking to connect with other asexuals, there are some fun subreddits with ace memes and there are several discord servers. I'm not sure about other social media sites because that's basically all I use. If it helps, you can always pull the "waiting until marriage" card in less tolerant social circles (such as religious family members) and that will buy you some time. A "fun" optional addition would be to just not get married, but not everyone likes that idea. If you do want to settle down with someone someday, don't hide your lack of sexuality from them. It could actually hurt a relationship because you wouldn't be on the same page with what's okay and what's not. Be open and honest from the start, or as soon as such a thing would become relevant. That way if they ditch you over it, you won't be so invested that it severely damages your life. You'll know you have found a decent match if they are aware and want to stay with you (and not just in the hopes that they will change your mind either). I guess the biggest takeaway here is: more people are accepting of it than you think, and if they aren't then generally speaking you don't need them in your life (gets a little iffy with family but if you're independent then you can technically do whatever). Be who you are and don't be afraid of it. You do have to live with yourself for the rest of your life so it would be in your best interest to try and be the person you want to be. You got this, okay? Welcome to the ace community, but you will have to supply your own garlic bread/cake. ;)

@butterfly23528 I understand how you feel it can be very isolating sometimes because it sometimes feels like everyone talks about sex but there are many people out there who fall under the asexual spectrum thankfully.
