Serious Concern

Hey, I just want you to know you are not broken. You are not immature. You are not “less than” because you don’t feel sexual attraction like others do. The way you experience (or don’t experience) attraction is just as valid as anyone else’s, and it doesn’t make you any less whole or worthy.  

I get why it might feel isolating or even frustrating sometimes, especially in a world that puts so much emphasis on sex. But gagging or feeling uncomfortable when people talk about it isn’t something to be ashamed of it’s just your natural reaction, and that’s okay. You don’t owe anyone an explanation or an apology for the way you are.  

If anything, the fact that you’re even questioning these feelings shows a level of self-awareness and emotional depth that is far from immature. You’re navigating a world that often makes people like you feel “different,” but that difference isn’t a flaw it’s just a part of who you are. And that part is just as deserving of love, respect, and understanding as anyone else’s.  

Be kind to yourself. You don’t have to change to fit into someone else’s expectations. You are enough, exactly as you are.
