I need some help with figuring out what type of attraction I feel
So basically, I have been in a few romantic relationships before and one sexual relationship (however I wasn't actually very interested in the sexual aspect of it) and i hadn't questioned anything. However, now I am interested in one of my close friends. He knows because he has said he liked me so we talked about it, and I have previously described it as a crush but I recently saw a post talking about allorus attraction and so I did some research and it lines up almost exactly with how I feel for him. I always want to get closer to him emotionally and physically but I don't really care if it's through a relationship or friendship, I've often accidentally gone to rest my head on him or hug him randomly, but not with romantic intentions just for the physical contact. I don't know how to approach figuring out my identity or how to talk to him about it, any help would be great!

I couldn't find a definition for “allorus” attraction, so I don't know how your relationship lines up with it. However, at least for now, it doesn't seem like sexuality is involved. That kind of involvement may or may not occur later on. Friends can feel such affection for each other that physical contact can occur with no sexual agenda. Maybe you sense him as you would a caring relative.
When it comes to determining sexual identity, being in rush to discover it may make the process more confusing and difficult. Also, it's entirely possible that your identity may evolve over time, so maybe how you are feeling in the moment is the most important consideration.
