Pansexuality vs Omnisexuality: differences!
What is pansexuality?
Pansexuality is the romantic, emotional, and/or sexual attraction to people regardless of their gender. Like everyone else, pansexual people may be attracted to some people and not others, but the gender of the person does not matter. People of any gender identity can and do identify as pansexual.
What is omnisexuality?
People who identify as omnisexual are attracted to those of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Omnisexuality is in the category of multisexuality, which includes people who are attracted to more than one gender.
What are their main differences?
Many people use the terms pansexual and omnisexual interchangeably. While they are closely related, there are differences between the two. Those who identify as pansexual feel attraction to people without noticing their gender, while omnisexual people recognize the gender of potential partners.

Thanks for the explanation, Kate! As someone with pansexual friends, I appreciate learning more about pansexuality because I want to expand my understanding of it. Despite starting to become more comfortable with my own queerness, I'm still not as educated as I'd like to be on all aspects of the LGBTQ+ community. Your efforts are appreciated! (^ ^)
