Hey there @lavenderApricot7438 *hugs* (if you are okay with it)
Well, statistically most people are not serial killers :P
Joke aside tho, I know that dating can be really stressful and just "jumping into it" can be really hard and on Tinder usually things go really fast. I think it would be worth to just see if there is an active LGBTQ+ community in your area and maybe join them for an event or just hang-out with them if possibe, not to get dates at first but to get to know the scene and maybe to make some friends or just meet people with more experience in your area. I know that, for example, my area had this trans self-help group which has help a lot to me just by getting to know others and hear from them and make friends.
After you have some friends you can try to go out with them, even to clubs or bars - it is generally better if you have people with you, at least in my experience.
Or, who knows, they might be able to help you find someone and set up some dates. :)
Of course, all begining is hard but that is why I think it would be worth to take your time a bit and build this up a little bit if possible. Of course this is just an idea so if you do not feel like it this would work for you it is totally fine, you know yourself the best :)
Stay awesome!
