A Friend Who’s Explored Transitioning Thoughts
Hey everyone,
I have a friend, who recently shared something personal with me. While he’s not trans, he has thought about transitioning, he’s considered having breasts and a *** and has said he would definitely prefer a female body.
The reasons he hasn’t transitioned are:
-
He feels it’s too much of a hassle.
-
He’s still comfortable in his male body.
-
He knows that transitioning at his current age wouldn’t give him the same results as if he had before puberty, so he’s decided to stick with his current body for now.
He also shared that he’s okay being referred to as he, she, or they. He identifies as genderfluid, pangender, and agender all at once. As he put it, “I don’t care how you refer to me, as long as you make it clear you’re talking to/about me—any pronoun works.”
I thought this was such an interesting perspective on gender and comfort in one’s body, and I wanted to see if anyone else relates to thinking about transition but choosing not to for practical or personal reasons

Thank you for sharing!
It's important we have these open and honest conversations in a safe space and I'm so glad that your friend had you 💕💜
@LanaAfterDark Your friend sounds awesome. I have similar thoughts. I don't really care if someone sees me as male or female. I wish there were a way to express that easier without having to have a long conversation that drains my energy. I've always longed to be female and feminine and the older I get I'm more at peace with those thoughts. It's great to have someone to talk about it with too :)
