Hard to accept myself

I'm afab, I'm identifying as demiboy/genderfaun, but I find it really hard to not invalidate myself or tell myself I'm faking everything. I have the worst problems when going out in public, with people assuming my gender/pronouns based on my body or how I look, but I'm afraid of surgeries and I don't want HRT- I'm new to this app and not sure what to do 🤍

Hi!! I’m also afab transmasc and I totally understand how you feel!

it can be so hard to deal with invalidation because it seems like - at least for me - lots of people in the community (and outside) still claims people who aren’t binary are faking or are “less trans” in some way. I also don’t want hrt or surgeries, so it can be very hard to deal with a society that has a very narrow view on this stuff :(

my friend, you are not alone and you are definitely not faking. No one knows you better than you do, and you are doing what’s best for yourself. Im sorry you have to deal with people assuming who you are. Feel free to message if you need help with anything! It’s going to be okay ❤️
