So recently I have come to the conclusion that I’m non binary and I’m proud of it. All my friends know but I’m terrified to tell my parents can someone please tell me some ways I can tell them

Hello @kurtdcobain

It sounds like you want to come out to your parents as nonbinary and are scared. I understand <3 I was also terrified of coming out to my parents. It looks like you are still a teen. I suggest reflecting before you decide to come out to them if you are financially dependent on them. I know it can be frustrating to be in the closet, but your safety is the most important thing. If you have heard them say anything transphobic, have been told they would not support you if you were trans, or don't feel comfortable then I suggest waiting. This article elaborates on these points and I suggest reading it. This decision is still yours to make, though. If you feel safe and comfortable doing so, then go for it! Here are some resources on coming out that you might find helpful. Remember, you deserve to be loved and supported by your parents. There is nothing wrong with you and you are valid :D I hope everything goes well for you, good luck!

@kurtdcobain

Hello there 👋 I'm proud of you for fighting yourself out ❤ you are loved and valid ☀ to add to what snail said, if or when you come out, I recommend being ready to explain what the term means, and to tell them what pronouns or name to use for you. Also explain that you're still you and this is who you are 🍄 sending much love
