I need some feedback...

So I have the opportunity to get a binder. I don't have the support from my family or my boyfriend to get on though. I'm non-binary (they/them) and I've been wanting to get a binder to help with my gender dysphoria. I talked to my boyfriend yesterday and he got really really mad at me. that wasn't entirely his fault, it's just how he grew up. Also, my grandparents are around all the time and are also unsupportive. So should I get the binder or not?

@cyanWatermelon4348 I don't think this is my area of expertise, but I think you should try talking to your bf again to explain. Just an intellectual conversation about a controversial idea.

I would probably do something more harsh than that, like saying I'll break up with him if he continues to be hateful of who I am, but if things end up going that far then it's your choice to issue an ultimatum like such. Hopefully you won't need to decide to do that at all and things work out between you two.

As for your grandparents, maybe there's a way to conceal it. Try wearing loose shirts or jackets or carry something to cover your chest when they're around.
