My mother made me stress out
My mother didn’t take the news as well as I thought. When I came out 9 months ago, they seemed fine with the idea of being becoming a trans girl. But now, I’m not sure who in the family to trust. My mother said transgender people were predators, that I’d never be a real woman. Tough Luck… and now I feel lost.
Hey love,
This is a very sad situation to be in, I can imagine. It really bugs me when people try to make a relationship with parent just so that parents are happy, eventhough you might not feel that way. You are not hurting anybody by being yourself and by finding yourself, it takes guts to do that, sometimes people are scared of unknown and they don’t know how to act around it. Try to have a conversation with your family one by one and see how they breathe. Some calm deep converastions can really have a big effect on situations. If the respone isn’t positive right away, it doesn’t mean that it will stay that way. But one thing you have to memorize is that you want your family to understand, but you don’t need that in order to be okey. Hope I helped somehow.
Take care
