@HazelHickton
Hi Hazel. I would like to start this off with saying that you're amazing for having such an important piece of insight into yourself! Knowing who we are, and even being welcome to that identity changing over time, is a beautiful thing, and I'm really happy for you.
My question to you would be this: What, if anything, would you feel if you were able to be your whole true self? What sort of emotions come up for you?
I remember coming out almost 6 years ago now, and embracing my whole self. For me, the experience felt so liberating. Even if I didn't necessarily present outwardly in a way that folks would have expected for my gender, that knowledge that I was out about being who I was felt very freeing. It felt like, "This is a part of me that makes me who I am, and it's something to be proud of."
Other people are likely going to have their own opinions on us, and that's okay. They can have them. In the end, the only opinion of us that really matters, is ours.
You are loved. You are valued. You matter. ❤️
