Non-binary?
I think I’m non-binary, but I’m not sure. I’m afab, and I’ve been using they/she pronouns. The problem is, only a few of my friends use they for me. Most people use she and it’s exhausting to hear it all day every day. Is this normal? Should I switch to just they/them? I don’t feel like correcting people all the time.
also, does anyone have tips on how to dress more androgynous as an afab person? I have long hair and a larger chest, which makes it harder. Thanks in advance!!
hi there, you should tell you friends to use then equally. what i do for my friends who have multiple sets of pronouns is use one set in one sentence, and then another set in the other sentence.
for dressing more androgynous, you should see if you can get a binder and baggy clothing. there should also be good tutorials online for that.
As for a larger chest, be proud and stick them puppies out. Be grateful for how God created you. If it is bothersome, there's always surgical or other alternatives.
I'm older, so the pronouns don't bother me. I'm non-binary pansexual and an old person. Since I grew up with her/his/him it doesn't bother me, even if I don't fit that pronoun
But until someone comes out with better pronouns, I don't care which people use. The people closest to me know the truth, and that's all that matters.
