i hate support groups
lgbt+ support groups are not for me, online or irl.. i have different, somewhat controversial beliefs than most do in these groups and i feel left out because of it. like if i don't agree with all of their opinions about the lgbt+ community it makes me homophobic/transphobic which i am not. i am allowed to have my own opinions on my community. i just wish i had a space that was actually supportive. i've given up on finding one at this point.
@blueberrywaffles,
Hello,
I am so sorry that your experience in the lgbt+support groups I know it is pretty tough to share your views when other people's views go against yours. You are entitled to express your own view. I think in a group we should be open-minded and willing to accept someone else's point of view even if they do not like it. I do agree with how that makes you feel. I empathize with you.
I am also very sorry that you had that experience❤️. with Maybe this is something you can discuss on a one on one with Thes of the group Leader for greater understanding , or just bring it to their attention❤️

@blueberrywaffles i understand what you mean. i have "controversial" beliefs and get attacked when i don't agree with the majority =/. it can be hard to find a place you fit in, and i've had a hard time finding one myself. i'm happy to talk to you if you'd like! ~ josh
@f1nd3rzk33p3rz glad someone else can relate and sure i'd like to talk with you if that's okay :)
@blueberrywaffles of course! <3
