Help! Any tips
At my school I was recently outed to a massive homophobe. He lives a couple houses away from me and knows exactly where I live. He hasn’t done anything yet but he talked about throwing hands with me when I joined in on a couple students criticizing Andrew Tate. I anonymously reported him to counseling through an online thingy before for being really creepy towards me and he somehow found out it was me. I didn’t even put any of my info on the slip but idk. I figured I’ve used the anonymous thing so much now that they might start not believing the tips or he might find out it was me again and that would mean trouble. Considering he hasn’t actually done anything yet I wasn’t gonna report it anyways. But yeah a lot of you have been outed before so I thought id ask.

I'm sorry to hear that you were outed to someone and have been made to feel unsafe, and while I am glad that you tried to anonymously report him. Do you think he might have been able to guess it was you simply due to the nature of the report? So he may not actually know it was you but suspects that it was?
Overall it sounds like a very difficult situation for you, are there any other people you can report your concerns to if you need or want to? Any other thoughts on how to keep yourself safe going forward? I obviously don't know the details of your situation, so I can't really suggest possible ideas.
Ultimately, being outed can make it hard to feel safe, and not sure who we can trust, but I do hope you have people who you do trust and feel safe with.

Being outed is a very scary experience that nearly everyone here has gone through. The best thing you can do is be vigilant, be safe and don't let the fear run you over. It can be extremely easy to let the fear of violence debilitate you. You did an amazing and courageous thing by reporting it early on. If you'd like to talk more about this, I'd love to lend an ear.
