Anxiety with every New Relationship
Hi everyone :)I feel really weird posting this but due to the anonyminity of it, it seems safe. I suppose this post is more so geared towards other lesbians (although I would appreciate any male insight as well). I have a lot of baggage in new relationships. I have crippling anxiety, regarding cis gendered straight men. Most of my personal experiences with men randomly approaching me have been pretty predatory (or at least leaning towards creepy). I am the femme in the relationship and my partners are more chapstick (tomboys but they still look like 'women' (I put quotations because I am reffering to heteronorms and peoplcan look however they want)). I have had someone point out that my experiences may be different than what my partner's experience is. When I enter a new relationship I always have anxiety about cis straight men being creepy to my partner. I feel as though I am hyper on the lookout and can now read creeps a mile away. I just don't even engage in conversations with them if I am randomly approached (and if I don't know them). My partners are tomboys and generally relate more as friends to men. So they go out of their way to talk to strangers (both male and female). Some of my exes have lied to me about being bi and fucked me over. My current partner is gay and I believe her. I don't think she would ever go for a guy. But the thought of her thinking she is making a new friend and the guy ending up having other thoughts freaks me out
