First Relationship after coming out

Hi, I am 26 and recently came out after a nasty divorce with my ex husband. I met a girl and immediately fell in love. She is the first girl I have ever been with. We have now been together for 2.5 years and she is ready for marriage and kids.
I have ignored many red flags because I thought this was forever for me.
Now I am having major second thoughts. Has anyone ever ended up with the first person they have dated after coming out?

Yes and after coming back with her I have been 10 years with her. What red flags? How was your communication? In a relationship communication is everything.
