How do I stop hating myself

I'm lesbian, but I'm also christian. As far my my otherwise very loving and supportive Christian community is concerned, that's unacceptable. I know what the Bible says about homosexuality, but I've tried to change myself and nothing worked. I was in a lot of emotional pain and I hated myself a lot because of this, but I've finally accepted that I'm attracted to girls.

the problem is that I don't know what to do about it. Do I accept this and start dating girls, or do I remain faithful to God? Is there a contradiction? I just want to be happy. I don't want to leave my church community, but I don't want to keep living a lie. I want to be a good Christian, but does that mean I will never be able to find love? I want to stop hating myself, but I don't know what to do. Please help! T-T

@suckstobemehonestly

i am in the same boat my family is insanely christian and i feel like i am sinning all the time i am bisexual and have just come to terms with it and accepted it. when i feel really distressed about it i just think that god loves us all and he loves us regardless of our sins if he can love murderers and other intense sins why wouldn't he accept us for wholesomely loving another woman? god is good and i think if we do our best with the rest of our lives this thing won't really matter. that's what i use to comfort myself, i hope it helps.
