Any advice for homophobic parents? I’m lesbian.

Always keep in mind that what is most important is your own safety, you do not owe to tell anyone, so only share this part of yourself if you feel comfortable and ready to.

If your parents are extremely homophobic and you think they might disown you wait until you have your own apartment and your own financial income. Then, decide wether or not you actually want to tell them.

If you are not sure you can always ask them about laws passing in your country that directly affect the LGBT+ community and judge based on their responses, maybe they are confused about it and might change their mind with exposure.

Remember that there is no rush for coming out, and certainly no obligation to do so.

Take care <3
