Still in closet need advice
So I am super to happy to have found 7 cups and this group. Im 46 and known Ive been gay since I was around 11. I was always told it was wrong and made to feel bad about when I would say I liked other boys in school. I followed the rules and not my heart and am married to a wonderful woman and even though I love her I really need to tell her so I can be true to myself finally. Thats the difficult part, I know she will be hurt, upset and stuff and I know it would be better for her too, but again so scared. The whole family and friends thing just adds to it also. I just want to be honest to her and stop feeling like Im hurting us both. Please any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I'm still a teenager that doesn't have much of a love life but I just wanted to say that I'm so proud of you for making steps towards accepting your identity openly and freely. My advice is to recognize that though you have known you weren't straight for a long time now, it's better for youself and your wife that you tell her your sexual orientation. It's going to be tough to tell her but it's something that you must do for your happiness. Hope everything goes well!!
