so how about some icebreakers on that?
gay!

# ever fell for sommeone close like a friend or benchmate?
#what is the best part of being lesbian?
feel free to list your own difficulties and quirks
oh! and some rainbow snacks for you!!
One difficult thing for being lesbian (or any wlw) is not being able to tell the difference between friendship and romantic interest xD close girl friends are so cuddly and nice and you can hold hands, kiss cheeks, cuddle, share a bed, say "I love you" or any number of romantic things...and still just be friends
it's tough to get across the message that "no, I like you more than friends!!" I literally 'proposed' to a female friend and we said we were engaged for a long time in high school and she still didn't get the message 😂
@TaranWanderer Yes I have fallen for straight guys! I kept thinking they wanted more as well and i still do really. Its caused some real heartache. I wish I would have been a little more aggressive but was also afraid it would wreck everything. Really frustrating and i still miss these guys a lot.
1- The most difficult thing about being a gay man is that i have to hide it because it's illegal where i live, and the worst part is that i'm forced to laugh along with any homophobic comments i might hear in daily life.
2- No, i've never fallen for anyone before. i've never even dated neither men nor women. ( super conservative society)
3- Since no one ever suspected or suggested anything about my sexulaity i would say i'm a 1 on the scale of 10.
@ItachiNoSharingan I've been on the other side of it. I've lived in an extremely gay area, to the point one is assumed gay until otherwise. Thank you for reminding me we have a lot further to go. You aren't alone and I wish there was something I could do to help you be open and your true self.
@BradleyK
ah damn!! must have been a lot trouble having to correct people!! thank you for handling it so good humouredly . i guess there really are all kinds of places in this weird world!!
@Hedwiglovegood I lived in Palm Springs, CA. It's year round population is 52% LGBT. Our best couple friends when we lived there were straight. The husband was young and cute. He told us after living there he had a better understanding of what LGBT community goes through in more straight dominated areas.
helllo there!!
It is quite sad and upsetting to hear about all the corners of the world where people who are unique and different are still discriminated against. i am from a conservative place too but my parents are really accepting and i couldn't possibly understand the whole extent of pain you must be going through everyday in your life. i would tell you to reach out to me anytime but you are an adult and PMs won't be possible so please feel free to post in any of my threads and reach out!! you are fighting a difficult fight but we are all here for you!
