texting??
so i'm a lesbian but i have terrible social anxiety that becomes 10x worse when i'm texting. i usually don't text anyone so this isn't a problem, but i met this really cute girl who i really wanna get to know more and i can only really talk to her through text. also overall i'm scared to talk to her because my anxiety gets so bad that i'm afraid of looking like an idiot and thinking that she'll try to stop talking to me as soon as possible because i'm a really boring texter. i could probably call her but i still have the same issue with worrying about what to talk about and sounding dumb. i feel like i'm definitely just overthinking this way too much but i almost never talk to people and it feels so terrifying to put myself out there u______u

I met a cute girl,same thing happened to me, I got so anxious and everything too. I get the feeling like youre an idiot and it feels like youre always in a perpetual state of falling over in front of everyone. What helps for me is to type out what i wanna say, and just hit send. it's gonna be hard at first. dont even look at it, except if youre looking for spelling mistakes. just send it. dont think about it, just send it.

ah thank you so much!! that's really good advice. i think i just psych myself out cause i overthink everything so not giving myself a chance to think too hard at all is a good way to go about it. i'll keep in touch 😌😌✌️✌️ lets go lesbians
