I need help coming out
I go to a youth zone In my town and I want to come out as transgender to some of the staff there.
Some of them already know but they don't know about my preferred name, some can guess but can't know for sure, and some don't have a clue.
Since its a youth zone they have to respect it and I know most of them support or are a part of the LGBTQ community
I'm out at home but I just don't know how to ask for either them or my parents to use my preferred name. Any ideas please lmk

I think that you have to do what makes you happiest when you are ready! There is no pressure and make sure you are safe! I am rooting for you! ❤️
It’s sounds like you have plenty of people who are supporting you. Is there any particular reason you feel like coming out would be difficult. I personally do not have a good support system and coming out wouldn’t be the best idea, but your family and group seem supportive.

honestly , it's easier than you think, unless someone is straight up hostile, even apprehensive individuals can be convinced that being LGBTQ isnt anything bad, just requires a little subtlety, for example asking - would you be kind to call me by [insert pronouns] ? can be a great way to gauge the person's attitude towards it
I know it seems scary, and I'm making it sounds so easy, but I'm speaking from personal experience here, yes I was terrified to tell my friends and family about myself, but once I've actually done it, it felt so simple.. hindsight sight is 20 - 20
