Mindfulness weekly idea November 1-7

Dear Lovely 35+ Community

Today I want to share with you a nice and easy crafting activity that could turn into a mindfulness exercise.

Have a walk in a forest or park, and spend time searching for leaves. Every time you collect one examine it. What colours can you see? Think about how it feels on your hands. Dont rush the process. Take the time to look for leaves that you think have a pleasing or funny shape and colour.

Once youve returned home, you can recall the peace and relaxation of nature by mindfully creating little things with the leaves. Begin by getting into the right state of mind. Find somewhere comfortable to sit and make yourself a drink. Allow yourself to become absorbed in the act of creating.

Try and let go of your anxious thoughts and allow your mind to drift while you work with your leaves. Select your leaves carefully and think about what they could become. You dont necessarily need to have a plan or a design in mind, simply follow your imagination and see where it takes you.
