Acceptance

Learn to foster greater acceptance for you own thoughts and feelings, other people, events beyond your control, and the beliefs you have at any given moment. By doing so are able able to break away from your preoccupation with anxiety and focus upon your recovery.

Commitment

Committed to change—to focus upon moving toward the things that really mattered in your life and to travel through the spiral of change on your own journey of recovery.

Behavior

Change your behavior through mindfulness. Nw Learn that regardless of your circumstances or the thoughts that colored your perception, your behavior could either move you away or toward the things that mattered to you. YOU have a choice. Not necessarily an easy choice, but a choice nonetheless.

Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. ~Reinhold Niebuhr
