Hello FJ!
Welcome to our Buddy Up page; I'm so glad that we have this place to meet! I hope that you are well today. I thought we could start off the week with a few questions to get to know each other better. Feel free to answer any of them if you're comfortable doing so.
1. What is your favorite color? How does that color make you feel?
2. What food do you love the most?
3. What season is your favorite? Why?
4. If you could be any animal, which one would it be and why?
5. What is your favorite way to relax and de-stress?
My favorite color is blue, it reminds me of water and makes me feel calm.
One of my favorite foods are brownies- especially with coffee!
Summer is my favorite season- I love hot weather!
If I were any animal, it would be a cat. They are strong-willed and introverted!
I love to relax by spending time outdoors. I feel my best when I am close to nature.

Thank you for all your wonderful "anxiety-distracting" questions, Spring.
1. I haven't thought of my favorite color for ages. When I was little, I used to fancy pink solely because it's pretty. Also, red because I don't know I guess it looks sophisticated; but now that I think about it, Gryffindor (from Harry Potter) symbolizes bravery, is almost red. As of now, I'll go for anything that feels calming such as yeah, I agree, ocean-blue or green as nature.
2. Pizza. I've given up almost all unhealthy foods but this, I just can't give up this heaven-like food.
3. It's summer over here at the moment actually. There are only two seasons in our country, and I'm not really fond of them both. I think I'd like to try what it feels like during fall or spring.
4. I'll go with puppies or yeah dog (although my favorite sister is scared of them) because they're cute and sweet.
5. Maybe falling asleep reading or eating my favorite foods while watching a good film or series or singing. Walking in the village's street on a late afternoon where you can catch the sunset while having long conversations with someone is relaxing too.

Hi FJ, I hope you're doing well this week! I like your answers to the questions; thanks for playing along! Red really does seem like a brave color and I've never really seen it that way before- I think that's an interesting perspective. I love pizza too- so much that I had it for dinner tonight.
It's such an easy dinner and so yummy! I understand what you mean about the 2 seasons. Where I live, it is warm and hot most of the year but we do get a bit of spring after winter, which is a nice feeling. We will have a few months of cold weather, which I don't really care for. I used to live in a place where winters were very harsh and it made me have a strong appreciation for hot weather. I love puppies too, but my cats don't, haha! And I love your relaxation/ de-stressing activities. I used to read all the time and life has been so busy that I haven't made the time. I miss it- I should pick up a book soon.
So, tell me, how has your week been so far? Are you looking forward to anything in particular?
@fictionjunkie

Hello, FJ! I wish you luck during your interviews this week! You're are in my thoughts and I am hoping for you to find strength and courage as you go forward with your day. Try to think positive thoughts for yourself and focus on your abilities.
Also, I wanted to let you know that I took your advice and had some tea today. Thank you for your suggestion! I stirred in some honey and put in a dash of cayenne pepper and my head is already starting to feel clearer.
This week, I thought we might talk about the things that make us feel grateful. Focusing on gratitude always helps me to re-focus on the things that are important to me. Sometimes, even something that may have not seemed like an inconvenience, can turn out to be something to appreciate. I wanted to share 5 things that I am grateful for... and if you would like to, I'd like to invite you to do the same!
I am grateful for my family, but especially for my brother. He always understands me and accepts me as I am.
I am thankful for the flowers in my grass. The gas cap broke on my lawn mower, which really annoyed me. But now I have really lovely flowers all over my yard. I admired them today while I drank my tea.
I am so thankful for the nice weather I've been able to enjoy here. The sun is very warm and it makes me feel so happy.
I feel grateful for my long weekend so that I could have a chance to rest and feel better and be energized for a new week.
I am thankful for you and that we had the opportunity to meet here on 7 Cups!

I miss you. Sorry if thatd make you feel uncomfortable but I do, I miss talking to you. Or maybe because its the fact that theres no single human friend I could talk to over here; not just about serious things in life but also our favorites. One of the disadvantages of being unemployed. It makes me feel so sad; my siblings have best friends they hang out with. Like today, they all went out with their friends and Im left home alone. Im sorry too that I havent posted here in our space for a while. Lately Ive been losing the energy to write and articulate my feelings because theyre always depressing.
Anyway, I hope you feel better now after having a cold. I hope youre happy and fine in general wherever you are and whatever you do. Im glad that you tried dinking a tea. I did that too when I caught one last week, I really thought it would last three days (which usually my case) but thanks to tea, it didnt.
Im amazed how hot weather makes you happy. I wish I could feel the same way, but over here it feels like a raging fire that it makes me feel more stressed and depressed, which I also feel when theres too much cold. I think Id like the in-between of those two, just a fine wheather with a bit of breeziness that it makes me want to cuddle in my bed and read a novel.
To answer your question. Here are things Im grateful for:
— My mom and my sisters for being understanding of what Ive been going through.
— These novels waiting to be read anytime here in my device especially when I get so lonely.
— My habit of writing in my journal when I feel like I have no one to release my emotions.
— The foods that we have now in the house.
— And also to you for being kind and patient with me. Just knowing that I have a friend here in 7 cups I can go back to anytime is a huge help for me to keep going in life.
Thank you, Spring. I wish you all the best in life. ❤️
