Diamond Painting

Hello everyone!

I thought it would be fun to share about my mindful experience on diamond painting. It's like painting by numbers, only using glue and small diamonds. It's like pixelated art, and it can't be rushed through. In today's busy world, it's easy to get caught up in the rush of life and not find the time to take to ourselves. When I diamond paint, I like the silence. I'm surrounded by the plants in my office and nothing else is on my mind. I'm too busy making sure the right colours go on the right places of the picture. I'm about a third of the way through and I'm actually starting to see a semblance of a picture! I'd take one, but it's buried right now. It's a picture of a girl standing at the edge of a cliff face, facing another cliff face which is a literal face. My husband bought a rock and roll themed diamond painting as my "next project" haha.
