Mindfulness Daily Check-In December 7, 2017

Moooorning everyone out there How are we all doing? Yes some of you may be depressed, feeling a bit more anxiety, sadden over losing a loved one.....whatever it may be, it is ok. Come sit here for a few minutes and allow your thoughts and feelings to stop. Yes Stop!!! Let's join this cute puppy in being mindful on eating this delish milk-shake

So lets start, get your mind into the place of preparing a milkshake So let's get the ice cream outta the freezer. Oh man- it's cold in there!! But we love that flavor of ice cream right. Ok so let's get the mixer under that cupboard. OMG it's heavy-isn't it. Let's add in the ice cream now. Ok do we have any fresh fruit in the fridge? OMG look at the food in there, sure you don't wanna nibble on some good food. My tummy just growled Oh look we got some strawberries, blueberrys and melon. You pick which one to add in the shake. (I'm noticing I'm humming as I'm making my shake) Ok we got those things added now mix it all up. HOLY-MOLLLLLY that's loud!!! Now for the cup. Oh dear the one I like isn't clean. Gotta wash it. oh man why does the water start off cold then get hot? Love the smell of my lemon soap too. Now rinse the cup and dry it. Cup is still warm from washing it. Ok let's get this stuff in the cup as my mouth sure is watering It looks so think and yummy-right. Ok I want whip cream on mine- gotta get the the fridge. Wow this can is cold-lol haha the sound of the whip cream coming outta the can makes me smile some.

Now a spoon..... MMMMM isn't it good. So cold but goooood

So everyone how was that? Do you see how I was being mindful in just letting my brain think I was making a milk-shake? You can do this as well on anything. A walk in the park, a day at the beach, things like that. So please share on some thoughts you have or share on a mindfulness thing you do
