Mindful Storytelling Exercise

Hi, all I hope that your days are going/have gone well. If you're feeling up to it, let's try doing a mindful storytelling exercise together. The rules are simple:

1.) Build on the previous posts' plot by using 1 to 3 details (sights, sounds, smells, textures, temperatures, thoughts, emotions, etc.) that you are aware of in the present moment. If you're experiencing some difficulty with this today, feel free to mindfully add 1 to 3 sentences to the story with any details that you'd like.

2.) Keep the story light-hearted by refraining from language or details that violate our community guidelines.

3.) Most importantly, have some fun

I'll start our story: A fawn colored dog is sleeping peacefully on a couch. All of a sudden, it begins to rain really hard, and she jolts awake from the sound! She prances to her dog door, peeps her head out, and becomes startled by what she sees.
