This is a beautiful post; all ten of those affirmations resonate with me on a personal level. Because when I first started learning about mindfulness and meditation, I *finally* learned as well that it is so vital for us to love ourselves. Especially if (or sometimes when) we did not get that kind of self-love engendered into us as children.

And I will never *not* be amazed at the mind's seemingly natural inclination towards negativity, in terms of our thoughts and outlook.

But just my repeating (and even better, internalizing) these types of affirmations, we really can learn to love ourselves in the way that we need. :)

I feel like this is a really profound statement, cuz as you know, for better or worse, our mind tries to protect us in ways that can seem paradoxical.

I know for myself that a lot of the situations that my mind tries to manifest anxiety over are often truly trivial in terms of their actual difficulty.

@sereneSunset26 well we changed our lifestyle very drastically faster than evolution could catch with and its caused some discrepancies in how our mind protects us vs how it should in a way that would actually be helpful
