@Hopeforfuture12
HI Hope it is good to see you here and also I want to thank you for asking this very important question. So I can personally share that Mindfulness can help in almost any situation in life. Might not "fix" the problem but more so help you better adapt and accept things better. So let me explain things a bit better by what you shared here.
You shared you life just made a change because of a careless mistake you made while panicing. Here is a short explanation of how mindfulness can help with your panic.Mindfulness is the act of acknowledging these thoughts and allowing them to pass. By letting uncomfortable thoughts pass without reacting, you can develop a new response to fear and anxiety. Over time, and with practice, mindfulness meditation can help create inner harmony, clarity, and peace. And help lesson our reactions to panic and anxiety.
I understand that you might not have wanted to do the reaction you done, but you were in a panic. When we panic it feels like 911 all over the place within ourselves. So your reactions were due to you not having no skills to use to calm yourself some. And that is ok. hugs
This wait I do hope will go fast for you so your case can be heard and you return to the things you love. I am going to teach you a skill that is not hard and you can do it any where.
Grounding Distraction Skill
This skill can be done any where you are at. If you have some panic coming on-try this and see how the intensity and your reactions were different.
1. Name 5 things you can see
2. Name 4 things you can smell
