How have you ladies learned how to be a mom and still have your own identity? With no hobbies or outlets it feels really lonely

Ok this is gonna sound bad....talking

Well, first of all id like to clarify that I've helped raise my lil sister. So im not actually first mom, but my dad is abusive and my mom is a working lady, so I think I know what you mean.

Well I didn't really have energy to do anything else, so I would *guiltygulp* overshare to my friends. And they would say things that I can never imagine myself doing...one of them said to leave her alone ...which I cant because I know my parents wont step up. My mother is too drained and my dad wont because he dosent feel like it. So even though it was one problem after another, one babysitting session after the next, I knew I was choosing to do this because ppl my age would not have stepped up like this. That kind of gave me some sense of self

🍁🍁I hope this helps !! 🍁🍁Best of luck for your journey with your baby!! 👏🤞
