Stuck in thought
Hi! I’ve been told time and again to use my common sense and I have been sometimes compared to “bad examples”. The comparison itself is tiring, but what really gets me is that sometimes I blank or things slip my mind that it does take some time for me to think appropriately to the situation after it has passed, deeming me incompetent apparently. This then stems into me thinking that I’m not living the life I want and I spiral into the many mistakes that I have made (blowing them out of proportion), but it has been getting better since I’ve been taught to practice gratitude from here. I don’t know, talking about my feelings here really does wonders, so I wanted to try it again. Thank you for acknowledging my post. 💙
@LittleHopeInDark This happens to me too. Mindfulness practice might help keep you more focused in the moment and more engaged in the current task.
@hopefulPond6108 Thank you so much! I agree, I was so into the negativity of the moment and I have now realised that it doesn’t have that power to stop me doing from what I should focus on positively. I always look for things to do instead, but this was an opportune reminder to take a step back and read the definition of mindfulness again ahah. 💚✨
