Don't be scared to show yourself
"It was Uzumaki, he is the whole reason my eyes have opened." Says a certain character in the anime Naruto Shippuden. For me, that sentence is nothing less nor more than the truth itself. I am not afraid to show it, even tho anime is seen as cringe and non-realistic stuff. What I am trying to say, be yourself. Don't be afraid to express yourself, together we will grow and reach wellbeing.
I see where you're coming from and it's good to be proud of your interests but personally I don't like the word *scared*
It seems to get used a lot as a goading tactic. What are you hiding? Etc. It makes me withdraw more. I need to be comfortable to share. I need to know my audience so it takes time.
It's a bit easier if they are a tad more candid than me. It shows me they are willing to be vulnerable too :)
