Happy Birthday to me
I am turning 30 today, yet I feel like I am stuck at the rock bottom...
A year ago I felt like I am at the top of the world, getting my degree, surrounded by friends and family and off to a great future. Now looking back, this feels like a curse becsuse nothing turned out the way I expected 365 days ago.
I am burntout by work, and the inexistence of energy within me locked me at my home for one whole month. I cannot even guster the energy to go to work, even sitting at my office desk feels draining the energy that I dont have. I cannot stay like this, or else my path to my dream career would be ruined, but I just dont find a way to break free.Talking to a friend, resting etc doesnt help me getting out of this gridlock. I dont know what to do, almost everything I tried still led me back to square one.
What can I do?

@139872975 First of all, happy birthday!!!
Please note that there’s no instant fix to burnout, but consider this: this feeling doesn’t define you, and the life you’ve envisioned is still possible, even if the path feels obscured at the moment. It might help to step back and ask yourself whether your current work aligns with what truly matters to you. Sometimes we fight to preserve things that no longer serve us; out of fear, obligation, or habit, and letting go can open doors to opportunities we haven’t considered.
You also don’t need to face this gridlock entirely on your own. Seeking professional help, like speaking with a therapist or counsellor, could provide the guidance and tools to rediscover your energy and purpose. Be kind to yourself.
What we think isnt the reality, sometimes you have to go through it. Than figure out if it's what was expected, feeling trapped many people feel the same way, create a visual map of where you want to be it can help with motivation. Another example is record yourself or event write about your life, than share it your choice who.
Is what you want connected to an emotion that fades quickly? Is it the outside validation again, or is it deeper than that ?
The mind was attach to imaginary, goals and it's good motivation but your expectation. At least you got yourself employable shortly after.
Try staying in today, and detach from anything that may be distractions.
