It's okay to be weak.
Everywhere we look, we hear phrases like: “You have to stay strong. You're strong. Now you need to stay strong. I know you can do it because you’re strong.”
But the truth is, we’re not always strong.
We're human, not machines. People fall down sometimes. And unfortunately, there are times when we’re not able to get back up on our own.
We don’t have enough strength, motivation, or energy. We’re weak.
But being weak doesn’t mean being worthless. It doesn’t mean being less valuable. Being weak means being human.
I am weak.
Many times, I need someone to hold me.
I need encouragement.
I need a hug.
I need help.
Acknowledging that we’re not always strong, or that sometimes we’re simply weak, doesn’t make us useless in this world.
This world focuses on performance, productivity, strength, and courage.
But we are people.
We have emotions. We have needs. We have good days, and we have days when we can’t get out of bed.
I am weak. But that doesn’t make me less human. On the contrary. know and I want to admit that my life is not solely about performance.
It is human to be weak.
It is okay to be weak.
And if you are weak too, you are not alone.
You haven’t failed.
You’re just human.
