Some days it's okay,
For the dishes to not be done,
For the battle of the laundry,
Not to be won.
👚🥻👖👙
It's fine to leave floors unswept,
For a day, maybe two,
The dust will always be there,
Waiting for you.
🧹💙🧹💙🧹
The windows that need washing,
The vacuuming of rugs,
There will always be another day,
For the floors to be scrubbed.
🧼🪣🧼🪣🧼🪣🧼
Today it's okay
To take time to be you!
Leave the housework alone,
And do what you want to do!
🎨🕙⛳️🕘🏕🕛🧩🕒🪡
Time's a precious commodity
Minutes and days we have few.
Working, and cleaning,
Shouldn't be all that we do.
😴🥵😵💫🤧
Even God took rest Himself
On the seventh, final day
He knew all too well
There shouldn't be work without play.
🕋⛪️🕍🕌
So take the time you need,
To rest and rejuvenate,
Spend time doing things you love,
Before it is too late!
🍦🍕🥓🍗🍲
Don't waste your time wondering
What other people think,
Of the dirty floors, and dishes
Piled up in your sink.
🤔💭💭💭💭
It's rest you deserve and need!
Remember...
You cannot grow a flower...
If you don't take time to plant a seed!
